Meet Our Founder
Dr. Joshua Haimovici
Dental Surgeon & Founder
Dr. Joshua Haimovici earned his BA degree from Yeshiva University, New York City, in 1981. He then earned his DDS degree from McGill University in 1985. He maintains a restorative dental practice with an emphasis on comprehensive, aesthetic, and implant rehabilitation.
Dr. Haimovici taught at McGill University Dental School and the Dental Department of the Jewish General Hospital as faculty lecturer for well over ten years. His practice experience is rich and varied; he has always maintained a close relationship with other colleagues and specialists in and out of his own office.
He has devoted hundreds of hours to studying and understanding the biology of health and disease in the oral cavity. Dr. Haimovici frequently travels abroad to Dental Conferences in order to stay abreast of the latest developments in Dentistry. He enjoys learning about and teaching the clinical side of dentistry.
Dr. Haimovici is currently a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a Fellow of the prestigious Misch Institute of Implantology in Chicago, and is an active member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners. In addition, he is a member of the Canadian Dental Association and the Quebec Dental Surgeons Association.
He is married to Anne Elizabeth, with whom he has three wonderful children: Yehonatan, Elior, and Tehila-Adele.

Marisa received her diploma in dental hygiene in 1988 from John Abbott College. She joined Dr. Haimovici at les Dentistes de la Place Vertu in 2004, and was instrumental in bringing a constant evolution of a better and a more improved positive patient experience to our clinic. Marisa accomplished this through her deep-seated passion in the pride she has to the profession of dentistry and love of the people we treat.
She has forged life long bonds with patients who are truly grateful. Marisa enjoys initiating and directing treatment planning for comprehensive cases. Her solid communication and interpersonal skills in English, French and Italian help foster trust and confidence in our patients.
Serving Saint-Laurent and the West Island
Our clinic is inside Place Vertu in Ville Saint-Laurent, and patients come to us from across Montréal — including Dorval, Pointe-Claire, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Pierrefonds, Roxboro, Kirkland, Lachine and Laval.
You will find us at Entrance 6, with the mall's free parking right at the door and easy access from Highways 40 and 13.
